Camel Hump Lookout Walk

CAMEL’S HUMP LOOKOUT WALK is accessed approximately 2Kms South of Hawker on the Quorn road.

This is a very easy walk from the town and is a short climb for panoramic views of Hawker and the ranges.

At the entry from the Quorn road you are able to park your car just off the road for a shorter walk to this attraction.

This is an activity close to Hawker and is ideal spot for photographers. Camel’s Hump is a natural rock formation and is the same geological formation that forms Castle Rock.

Earlier morning and evening walkers will usually see kangaroos, lizards and birds.

From this point as great photos can be taken in the low angle light early in the morning or late in the afternoon.

The same great photos can be taken from Castle Rock which is approximately 2Kms east
